Dark Academia is a new appearing aesthetic, it is centred around libraries and books and everything dark, whereas light Academia is the same but lighter, and focuses around museums. These two aesthetics tie into each other and look great as buildings, outfits and other daily things like notes etc. So we have put together a little list/guide on how to live a dark academia life.

• Clothes, when it comes to the clothes you wear you have to stick with certain colour schemes, for dark it had to be dark brows, maroons, blacks whilst for the light it has to be beiges, and greys, and lighter browns, other than that what you wear is up to you.

• Hair is also very important, we recommend you try to style your hair as if you were living in the 1820s, ribbons the whole thing.

• Living, we know that living aesthetically can be hard, but just start by linking to the colour scheme, and then slowly start going to libraries and museums and your part of the way there!

These are just some of the little things you can do to lead and Academia filled lifestyle.
